Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

    Upon arriving in Kathmandu, you’ll be transferred to your hotel. The bustling capital of Nepal offers a vibrant mix of culture, history, and modernity. Take some time to rest and explore the lively streets of Thamel, where you can shop for trekking gear or enjoy local cuisine. In the evening, you’ll meet your guide for a briefing about the trek. Day 2: Kathmandu to Lukla (Flight) to Phakding

  • Altitude: 2,651 m / 8,697 ft
  • Duration: 35-minute flight, 3-hour trek
    An early morning flight takes you to Lukla, one of the most thrilling airports in the world. After landing, you’ll begin your trek with a gentle descent to Phakding, following the Dudh Koshi River.
